Happy Independence day
64 years of Independence and we still want more freedom.
Some want freedom to protest, some want freedom to print the images of god/goddess on their tops, some want freedom from corruption and some want freedom to do what they wish. Actually what most want is more freedom for themselves, how it affect everyone is not what they care for.
So what is new for me this year, it is a holiday so that is one, apart from that ummmm… nothing much. Same goes for most of the people I know. One new thing though that I see around me on FB is the fight against corruption. And how? Kick PM out, who infact is one of the few honest.
I think most of the nation is blind to see that they themselves voted the wrong person, but Sonia Gandhi gave key power to an honest man who has failed to play politics. It’s hard to believe that we were once the most powerful and civilised country.
But do I see hope? Well there is a small light at the end of tunnel and the traffic at the back is pushing us to it. The fact is we all are corrupt and we want other not to be. Until, we can’t change our selves, I don’t think we can change the system.
